Creative Writing Workshop with Dr Liam Bell

This workshop will invite participants to reconsider their conceptions of 'home' with a mapping exercise based on their memories of the place they know best and then a series of creative writing exercises to explore that place through prose and/or poetry.

ABOUT THE EVENT
Liam was born in Orkney and grew up in Glasgow. After studying for a BA at Queen's University, Belfast, he returned to Glasgow to take the MLitt in Creative Writing. From there, he moved down to Guildford and the University of Surrey, where he completed my PhD in Creative Writing in 2012. He is moving into a new post in July at the University of Strathclyde into the position of Chancellor's Fellow/Lythe Senior Lecturer in Creative Writing.
